Clik believes that "serious buyers" make offers in writing giving themselves a far greater opportunity in securing their new property.

This process avoids wasting time with "not so serious buyers" and allows the agent to negotiate a successful outcome for all parties concerned in the shortest possible time.

Making an offer using this simple process does not restrict the vendor from receiving more than one offer, nor does it prevent the buyer from making further offers.

Recommended steps to Clik online "Submit Offer"

  1. There are many things to do before making a serious offer and all necessary steps not taken can stall the purchasing process. They include:
    • Ticking off all your boxes when selecting your property
    • Bank finance approval and opportunities for first home buyers.
    • Financial advice for investment property buyers.
    • Legal representation.
  2. Arranging an inspection of the property with your Clik agent. This can be done by clicking on the "Arrange an Inspection" button on each property listing page of all properties listed on our website or contacting the agent as displayed on the particular property listing. Most buyers are already past this stage but if you haven't seen the property your offer may not be considered as serious.
  3. Next, from our experience, making a serious offer close to or the amount you can actually afford is the best way to buying the property. The vendor (principal) will know either you are a genuine buyer and consider the offer or reject it out of hand.
  4. Finally, if the first offer is unsuccessful, you can consider making a second offer, as the first offer may have been less than the maximum possible offer. This can happen purely as a tester to the vendor's (principal's) lowest price or you can't afford to go higher in which case the process would have ended.

Without doubt, some vendors (Principal's) have unrealistic expectations as to the true value of their property, at Clik Real Estate we always aspire to listing property at realistic prices to maximise the results for the vendor (principal) and the buyer.
